GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AGE OF RENTER AND DRIVER:
At least 23 years old.

DRIVING LICENSE:
The driving license of the car rental driver must have been issued at least one year prior to the rental date.

SECURITY:
The renter of the Tolios Rent a Car car is insured for:
a. Death and bodily injury of third parties up to the amount of €1,000,000.00.
b. Material damages to third parties up to the amount of €1,000,000.00.
c. The renter is responsible for any damage or theft caused to the rental car up to its total purchase value.
d. Mixed Security (CDW)
Mixed insurance limits the renter’s liability for damage to the rental vehicle to €400
e. Theft Security (TP)
Theft insurance covers the renter for partial and total loss of the car limiting his liability to the amounts in paragraph (d).
f. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal accident insurance covers the driver and each passenger up to €15,000.00 for death, total or partial disability.
g. No insurance coverage applies:
• For anything that happens to the car during its transport by ship.
• For anything that happens and it is found that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• For damages caused by driving on unpaved roads.
• For damage caused to the undercarriage, tires, mirrors and antenna.
• For personal items inside the car.
• For accidents caused by a driver not stated in the rental contract.

PETROL:
a. The car is delivered to the renter with at least 1/4 of the gas tank.
b. If the renter returns the car at the same level, there is no additional financial charge.
c. In case the renter returns the car with less petrol than he received, the cost of petrol consumed will be charged.
d. The renter is not compensated for any extra gas in the car’s tank upon return.

PRIOR APPROVAL OF Tolios Rent a Car
Written approval is required for:
a. Transportation of the car by boat.
b. Driving the car beyond the Greek border.
TRAFFIC OFFENSES:
Fines and any other consequences are borne entirely and exclusively by the tenant.

SECOND DRIVER:
In each car rental, only the driver is covered by the above insurances. In case the other drivers are going to drive the rental car, they must have their driver’s license with them to be listed as additional drivers on the rental contract.

IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, THE CUSTOMER IS OBLIGATED, REGARDLESS OF HIS LIABILITY, TO COMPLETE THE ACCIDENT DECLARATION, BASED ON ARTICLE K70 OF THE GREEK LAW
